Geography:

Central Asia: Pamiro.-Alaj. On saliferous gypseous barings, chalkstones, conglomerates , at 700- 1800 m above sea level.

Chemical Content

Roots. Saponins. Terpenoids: ladyginosides A, B, C, D, Е, F. An above-ground part. An essential oil of 0.08 %.

Traditional Use and Activity

The essential oil can find application in perfumery. Roots. A possible replacer of a soapwort root – Allochrusa gypsophiloides.
