Contains flavonoids caempferol, meletin, myricetin, free amino acids mucilage and tannin.

Traditional Use and Activity

It is the base for drug Chanerol which passed clinical trials as an antitumoral agent.
Plant flavonoids have shown cholagogue action in experiments. The plant is used as herb tea in Russia.
